Origin of some Nicknames
- Peorgie Tirebiter - A self inflicted nickname. Derived from the character of the same name from radio comedy troup "The Firesign Theatre's" superior album "Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand me the Pliers".
- Ike - detailed in "The Ike Amendments" along withmuch more information about other nicknames.
- B.A. - David left his boyhood nickname "Dedoe" behind :) bypressing his bare butt out car windows, an artform known as "Mooning". Peorgie Tirebiter coined the B.A. for "Bare Ass".
- Doc - short form of "Doctor of Drinkology". Coined by Bikeshop Joe, also known as "Stinkin' Joe" and "Jinkin Stow", as an expression of respect for John's capacity for beer drinking.
- Rabbit - as recounted by Rabbit himself in "The sordid truth...".
- Guppy Lips - a fairly obscure nickname for Bob Rosen, who was apparentlykissing with a girl in a fishlike fashion. More information in Rabbit's "The sordid truth..." document.
- Camaro - I once thought that this was based upon the GM automobile, but Darryl never owned one (his most infamous vehicle was a Firebird). I thinkthat this may just be a cool sounding variation of "Darryl Paramo".
- Vot - David Jusko, a Sears Catalog stocker who drank too much one night and barfed. Evidently "Vot" is a little known slang term for barfing.
- Edmandu - A rebound nickname. Your's truly rechristened Vot as "Votmandu",a variation of the Bob Seger song "Katmandu". Darryl Camaro appended the"mandu" suffix to "Ed" giving "Edmandu".
- I've left out a couple of obvious ones (Red - has red hair, Frog - he looks like a frog, etc.)
